Five years’ driving experience, including at least three years as a Heavy Vehicle Driver and the remaining period driving Light Motor Vehicles. Must possess a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving licence and Public Service Badge, if statutory. If the badge is not mandatory in the candidate’s state, the requirement must be fulfilled within three months of joining in Karnataka. Prescribed experience must be after obtaining a valid driving licence. Experience certificates must be from Government / Semi-Government agencies or registered companies, societies, trusts, etc. Part-time experience will not be considered. |
Application Fees:- Rs. 100. However candidates have to pay Uniformly Rs.500, After appearing written test candidates will be refunded Rs. 400.
Note:- Refund in full for candidates who are exempted from payment of Application Fees women, SC/ST/ PWD, EXSM candidates.
Salary:-
- Technician B:- Level-3:- Rs.21700 plus other admissible allowances.
- Light Motor vehicle Driver-A & Staff Car Driver A & Heavy Vehicle Driver A:- Rs.19900 plus other admissible allowances.
Selection Process:- The selection of candidates will be based on:
- Written Test.
- Skill Test.
- Driving Test for Driver post.
ISRO Technician B Recruitment 2026 Exam Pattern.

ISRO Staff Car Driver, Light Motor & Heavy Motor vehicle Driver Exam Pattern 2026.
- The written test consist in 4 Part.
- Part-A 50 questions based on Motor vehicle act, Part-B 15 question based on Elementary English of 8th standard, Part- C 15 question based on elementary arithmetic 10th standard level, Part-D 20 question based on General Knowledge.
- Written Test will be 100 Questions , 100 Marks.
- Time duration of written test will be 120 minute.
- Their will be 0.25 negative marks for wrong answer.
- Candidates have to secure 50% marks in Part ‘A’ and 50% marks in Part ‘B’, ‘C’ and ‘D’ combined for passing the Written Test.
- Passing marks will be relaxed by 25% for candidates belonging to reserved categories.
- Total marks obtained in all four parts of the Written Test will be reckoned for short listing for Skill Test.
Skill Test:-
- Candidates who had qualified in the Written Test will be shortlisted for the Skill Test in 1:10 ratio.
- Skill test will be remain for Qualifying Nature.
- Skill Test will be remain 100 Marks, Candidates have to secure 60 Marks for qualifying.
