The National Testing Agency has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) and inviting Online Applications of the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) for admission to 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEP) in selected Central/State University/Institutions including IITs, NITs, RIEs, and Government Colleges for the Academic Session 2024-25.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the National Common Entrance Test [NCET] 2024 in 178 Cities and 13 mediums across India in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for the Academic Session 2024-25 as per the schedule given below,
Online Submission of Application:-Form 13 April to 30 April 2024.
Last date of successful transaction of fee through Credit/Debit Card/Net-Banking/UPI:- 30 April 2024
Correction in Particulars:- 02 May to 04 May 2024.
Announcement of the City of Examination:-The last week of May 2024. Downloading Admit Cards from the NTA website:- 03 days before the actual date of the Examination.
Date of Examination:-12 June 2024 (Wednesday).
Medium of Examination:- Medium of the Question Papers: Drawing from the National Education Policy (NEP), the NCET 2024 will be conducted in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu.
Mode of the Test Computer Based Test (CBT).
Test Pattern Objective type with Multiple Choice Questions Medium 13 languages (Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu ) Language: Language to be tested through Reading Comprehension, Literary Aptitude, and Vocabulary Domain Subject: As per Class 12 syllabus only.
Syllabus:-General Test: General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning, Logical and Analytical Reasoning Teaching Aptitude: Topics related to the teaching of science, Arts, Mathematics, Performing Arts, Languages, etc.

Application Fees:- Rs.1200/- for GEN candidates,
Rs.:-1000/- for OBC/EWS candidates &
Rs.650/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
Instructions for filling the Online Application Form:-
- Before starting to fill the application form candidates are advised to read the Prospectus displayed on the website of the NTA / NCTE / University / Institution / Government College where admission is sought and be clear about the courses offered by them, seats available, eligibility as regards age, passing/appearing in qualifying exam, minimum marks in the qualifying exam, relaxation thereof, reservation, admission procedure, etc before applying for the NCET 2024, as Universities have their own specific requirements for admission to specified courses (discipline/stage). NTA will not entertain the corrections sent by the candidate through Post/Fax/WhatsApp/E-mail/by Hand.
