Education/Qualification:–
- Navik GD ;- 12th Standard passed with Maths & Physics.

- Yantrik:- 10th Standard passed and Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical or Electronics or Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering of duration 03 or 04 years From recognized University/institute.

- 10th & 12th Standard passed and Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical or Electronics or Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering of duration 02 or 03 years From recognized University/institute.
Salary/Pay Scale:- Selected candidates will receive stipend and other benefits as per the applicable Pay Level and Government rules mentioned in the official notification.
- Yantrik:-Rs. 29200 Pay level-5 D.A.+ Other allowances.
- Navik GD:- Rs. 21700 Pay level-3 D.A.+ Other allowances.
- Navik DB:- Rs. 21700 Pay level-3 D.A.+ Other allowances.
- Hyginist:- Rs. 21700 Pay level-3 D.A.+ Other allowances.

Selection Process:- The selection of candidates will be based on Stage 01 to 4 Exam.
- Stage-1 Computer Based Online Exam.

Computer Based Online Exam;- CBOE will be Objective type, 100 Questions and 100 Marks, Time duration of exam will be 01 hours and Questions papers will be English and Hindi. Their will be no Negative Marks.
Training:- The basic training for CGEPT – 01/2027 batch will commence in May 2027 and CGEPT-02/2027 will commence in Nov 2027 at INS Chilka followed by sea training and professional training in allotted trade.
Important Information regarding ICG Recruitment 2026.
- Recruitment for the posts of Navik (GD) female, Yantrik, Navik(DB) & Hygienist will be on All India basis.
- All original certificates and mark sheets produced at the time of Stage-II will be returned to candidate post verification. All original certificates and mark sheets produced at the time of Stage-III will be retained by ICG if cleared Stage-III or returned to candidate post verification if declared fail.
- Applications received by post will not be accepted.
- Candidates from “Open Schools” institutes not recognized by AICTE/COBSE are not eligible.
- All candidates will be frisked prior entering into examination venue.
