DRDO, has released the recruitment notification Under Advertisement number- RCI/HRD/Apprentice/ADVT/2027, For the post of Graduate, Technician and Trade Apprentice. Who are eligible for Apply?

• Candidates Who secured 70% or CGPA 7.5 in the Graduate or Diploma or ITI for the years 2022 to 2026 can apply DRDO Apprentice Recruitment 2026.

Eligibility Criteria.

Age Limit:-

• Not Lees than:- 18 years as on 01/09/2026

Education/Qualification:–

• Graduate:- ECE or Instrumentation or EEE or CSE or  Mechanical or Chemical or Metallurgical or Safety Engineering or Aeronautical or Aerospace or  Civil Engineering degree from recognized University/Institute.
• Technician:- ECE or Instrumentation or EEE or CSE or  Mechanical or Chemical or Metallurgical or Safety Engineering degree from recognized University/Institute.
• Trade;- ITI in Fitter, Welder, Turner, Machinist, Mechanic Diesel, Electronic-Mechanic, Electrician, and COPA Draughtsman Mechanic and Grinder from recognized Institute.

Stipend:- Ass per Apprentice act.

Application Fees:-  Application fees is not mentioned in the official Notification.

Selection Process:- The selection of candidates will be based on:

• Academic Merit/Interview.
• Document verification.

Note:- Shortlisted candidates will be informed by Email.

Document to be carried at the time of Document verification:- Short Listed candidates are required to bring Original & Self attested copy of document at the time of Document verification.

• Duly filled Application Form.
• NATS / NAPS profile printout.
• 10^th  Mark sheet and certificate.
• Consolidated  or Final Mark sheet of Qualifying Exam.
• Original  or Provisional Certificate of Qualifying Exam.
• Caste Certificate (if applicable).
• PWD Certificate (if applicable).
• Valid EWS Certificate (if applicable)
• Any Photo ID card issued by Govt. of India like PAN Card / Voter ID / Driving License.
• Aadhaar Card (Mandatory).
• Copy of Aadhaar Seeded Bank Pass Book /Statement
• Medical fitness certificate issued by a Govt Civil Assistant Surgeon.
• Two latest Passport size photographs.

Important Information regarding DRDO Apprentice Recruitment 2026.

• Candidates with higher qualification are Not eligible to apply.
• Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training or at present undergoing apprenticeship training under any organization are NOT eligible to apply.
• Candidates with more than one year work experience are NOT eligible to apply.
• Before commencement of training, the selected candidate will have to execute a contract of apprenticeship in the respective portals.
• Selected Candidates have to produce valid Police Verification Certificate either from their place of last residence (for at least past one year) or permanent address at the time of joining.
• The apprentices will not be provided any Hostel Accommodation, Quarter and Transport by the establishment at the time of interview and also during the apprenticeship period.
• The engagement and training are strictly in compliance with the provision of the Apprenticeship Act 1961 and there is no obligation for employment of apprentices on completion of their training.
